FB-V vintage Firebird style Humbuckers

Mini Humbucker sized Firebird pickup. Interesting design these, unlike most humbuckers, the original Firebird pickups utilise two bar magnets in a blade like orientation rather than the steel slug & screws used in most traditional humbuckers. The result is a humbucker with more of a single coil sound, more treble and tighter bottom end. Our version uses Alnico V magnets and vintage spec steel plate under the coils. Stock with chrome plated nickel silver covers however we can source other cover styles on request. We recommend wax potting for Firebird pickups due to their construction style.
