JM-N Noiseless Jazzmaster® pickup

Our first “noiseless” Jazzmaster® pickup sounds just like a great vintage jazzmaster pickup without the hum*! I’ve done the hard work with countless prototypes and testing hours to find the magic ingredients for a noiseless Jazzmaster® pickup. If you love the sound of the single coil in your offset but hate the hum these are for you.

With resonant frequency, Q factor and output and resistance values closely matched to my standard jm-v pickups these can be dropped into any Jazzmaster® guitar route without modification. Available with cloth covered hookup wire or two conductor modern shielded for even lower noise.

*Please note there is a difference between pickup hum and buzz associated with RF interference. RF buzz is often present on either humbucker or single coil guitars and can be greatly reduced by adequately shielding the pickup and electronics cavities and grounding the strings. Pickup Hum is usually associated with 50/60Hz mains hum and is always present with single coil pickups irrespective of shielding.
