The Madlove HB-V is our take on the classic Gibson®️ P.A.F humbucker of the late 50s, early 60s. We’ve gone with rough sand cast Alnico IV magnets, plain enamel 42AWG wire and nickel silver baseplate and cover. These pickups, like the originals, are wonderfully warm and articulate, with an unmistakable rock’n’roll growl when driving tube amps as heard on countless classic records. We’ve made these available in low, medium and higher output varieties to suit your guitar and playing style. Lower winds exhibit less compressed moderately brighter tone with less mid frequency emphasis. 49.2mm string spacing (other spacings and magnet grades available on request).
