Have a reissue Fender/Squier guitar with WRHBs? Chances are it has a humbucker closer in spec to a Gibson® humbucker. The original Fender® WRHBs used threaded CuNiFe magnets and a steel reflector to produce their signature tones and are somewhat different to these newer production pickups. The reissues were made differently due to the long time scarcity of CuNife alloy magnets.
The good news is that we now offer a retrofit of these reissue pickups which involves you sending us your pickup and us completely replacing the internal coils and magnets with our own custom bobbins, reflector plate and threaded CuNiFe magnets.
