TB-SHB Travis Bean® style humbucker in standard HB size

We’ve long been enamoured by the sound of the aluminium neck TB-1000 Travis Bean® guitars with their extra sustain and bright tone. Part of their sound is the use of oversize alnico slug pole humbuckers with a steel underplate fixed to the aluminium spine. This pickup goes someway to reproducing that with a high wind coil, A5 poles and a mild steel plate sitting under the two bobbins to concentrate the magnetic field inside the coil. With a closed nickel silver cover available in raw, polished nickel or gold to complete the look. This humbucker is standard size with standard pickguard mount tabs. Average DCR of around 12k in the neck and 13k in the bridge.
