We’re excited to offer what may be the first ever CuNiFe Wide Range Humbucker in standard humbucker size. These use the same magnets as our Fender® type WRHB but use a smaller bobbin wound with 43AWG wire to increase wind count in the smaller package. Staying true to the original they include the steel “reflector” plate and 3 x 3 cover design. Currently available unpotted with nickel or chrome plated covers.

I only have experience with the neck pickup (paired with a Tele pickup in the bridge). It doesn’t sound like a single coil but it does have a clarity to the tone. Unfortunately I can’t comment on how it compares to the original Fender pickups because even though I know people with real 70’s WRHB equipped Telecasters I don’t have experience with them myself.
